A senior grand-disciple of Prof. Tietao Deng, one of the inaugural National Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, and the principal disciple of Prof. Shaoxian Lao, the tenth-generation inheritor of the Jiuzhitang Lao family lineage of Chinese medicine.

She served as the third Director of the Institute of Spleen and Stomach Diseases at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and is the academic leader of the university’s national “Double First-Class” key discipline in complex and difficult spleen and stomach disorders.

She is also a member of the Primary Healthcare Expert Committee of China’s National Health Commission and the academic leader of the **Key Research Laboratory for Spleen-Deficiency Syndromes in Spleen and Stomach Diseases** under the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She serves as a standing committee member of six national professional committees specializing in spleen, stomach, and digestive disorders under organizations including the China Association of Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, and the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. She is also an advisor to the Spleen and Stomach Diseases Branch of the China Medical Association of Minorities and Vice Chair of the Digestive Diseases Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine.

Her research focuses on the principles of pattern differentiation and the pathological basis of deficiency and excess syndromes affecting the spleen and stomach. She has led 16 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and various provincial and ministerial agencies. He has published 65 SCI-indexed papers, with the highest impact factor of an individual paper reaching 31.84. Her academic metrics include an H-index of 31 and a ONE-index of 634. As project leader, she has overseen the development of seven national expert consensuses, group standards, and clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of spleen, stomach, and digestive disorders using Traditional Chinese Medicine and integrative Chinese-Western medicine.
