The Opening Ceremony will welcome dignitaries from all three levels of government in Canada, representatives of the Consulate General, leaders of major community and cultural organizations, representatives from educational institutions and businesses, members of the media, representatives of Western medical associations, academicians and National TCM Masters in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, renowned TCM and acupuncture experts, Western medical experts and scholars, professors and scholars in health-related fields, and distinguished guests from all sectors of society.
The program will feature a variety of performances, including Tai Chi, Baguazhang, qipao fashion show, and martial arts demonstrations. Integrating the TCM concept of “preventive treatment of disease” with a broader culture of holistic health, the event will present a vibrant range of sports, cultural, and entertainment activities that are widely enjoyed by the public. Tens of thousands of people are expected to follow and participate both online and in person.
The event will also include the launch ceremony for the third issue of *World TCM & Acupuncture Journal*.
