Dr. Huang is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine and a Master of Chinese Medicine from the University of Hong Kong, as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Chinese Medicine in Clinical Gynaecology from the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education.

He serves as Vice President of the International Association of Medicinal Cuisine and Dietary Therapy and as a member of the Professional Committee on Spleen and Stomach Disorders of the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association. He is also a Guest Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education and a Visiting Associate Professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
